Associated Spring Raymond, a custom springs manufacturer and customer of TopSpot Internet Marketing since 2007, wanted to keep improving results after launching a new website with a Catalog Data Solutions catalog integration in 2014. TopSpot’s customer relationship team used heatmap software and website analytics to better understand how visitors were using the faceted search on the site.

Based on the heat map analysis, TopSpot Internet Marketing redesigned the page layout and worked with Catalog Data Solutions to change the filter functionality from a traditional faceted search to a horizontal product search with fewer options. After six months on the updated design, Associated Spring Raymond saw a 130.65% increase in form submissions for Gas Strut products, a 126.12% increase in form conversion rate, and a 35.59% decrease in form abandonment.
