VUE & SEMMIP, a group of precision aeronautics subcontractors, faced the challenge of machining increasingly complex and precise parts while controlling costs. To manage this, they needed a more advanced CAM solution for in-house programming and simulation, moving beyond their previous GOelan software. The TopSolid’Cam solution provided powerful simulation and excellent management of surface conditions, allowing programmers to work seamlessly from 2 to 5 axes. The software's integration enabled transparent management of tool paths, real-time process monitoring over the intranet, and connection to onboard machine sensors. TopSolid’s implementation helped VUE & SEMMIP automate control operations, optimize their machining processes, and maintain their certifications, supporting their growth as a key supplier in the aeronautics sector.
