TopSolid'Wood simplifies variant configuration for Lindner

Lindner Türen-Fassaden, a company specializing in custom-made project doors, needed a more efficient and integrated CAD/CAM system to program the machining of its complex, customer-specific products. Their previous 2D system required manual 3D completion, which was time-consuming and lacked the deep integration they sought with their new ERP software. To address this challenge, they turned to the vendor TopSolid and its product TopSolid’Wood.

TopSolid implemented its 3D CAD/CAM system, which was integrated with Lindner's ERP software via a bidirectional interface. This allowed door parameters defined in the ERP system to be transferred directly to TopSolid’Wood to automatically generate 3D models and NC programs. The solution reduced programming times, greatly improved process security, and provided cost savings on system administration. The success has led to other subsidiaries within the Lindner Group adopting TopSolid’Wood.
