Shorter design cycles for Ipsam thanks to TopSolid'Design

Ipsam, a Belgian manufacturer of industrial cleaning vehicles and agricultural machinery, faced the challenge of managing increasingly complex design cycles and meeting diverse European standards. To enhance their process, they worked with vendor TopSolid and utilized its TopSolid’Design CAD software and the integrated PDM system.

The solution implemented by TopSolid involved a migration to the newer TopSolid’Design 7 platform, which provided a more user-friendly interface, collaborative project-mode working, and native PDM for data management. This migration, supported by TopSolid's reseller, resulted in significantly shorter design cycles, allowing Ipsam to build more trucks despite more complex regulatory demands, and provided performance gains estimated at 30% over their previous software version.
