SET, also known as Smart Equipment Technology Corporation, is an SME that designs and manufactures ultra-precise assembly machines for the microelectronics industry. Their challenge was managing the high technological risk and complex production of these sophisticated machines, which was hampered by manual, error-prone processes and a disconnect between their design and manufacturing management systems. To address this, they implemented the TopSolid suite from Missler Software.

The vendor, TopSolid, provided an integrated digital chain by linking its TopSolid'Design CAD software with its TopSolid'Erp management solution. This integration eliminated manual data entry, with changes to a design's bill of materials reflecting in production orders in real time. The results were significant: SET achieved a more than 12% increase in sales in under a year, eliminated costly delays from missing parts, and gained perfect control over project costs and margins, all without needing to increase their payroll.
