Haver & Boecker, an international specialist in packaging and processing machinery, faced the challenge of needing a more reliable and efficient CAM programming solution for its complex machining operations. Their old 2D system caused programming errors and long machine retooling times. They turned to the vendor TopSolid and implemented its TopSolid'Cam software to gain 3D capabilities and improve process simulation.

The solution from TopSolid included a virtual machining environment that accurately simulated their machines, clamping systems, and tools, which was set up with the help of TopSolid's reseller, Moldtech. This implementation resulted in a 50% reduction in programming times and significantly improved process reliability by eliminating errors. TopSolid's solution allowed Haver & Boecker to bring new NC programmes into production much faster and with greater confidence.
