The key challenge was expanding beyond an iOS companion app to develop a full-featured Android app from scratch, ensuring the system was accessible to all users regardless of their smartphone OS and meeting the needs of the new professional market.

The solution implemented by Tooploox involved building an Android app MVP that mirrored the iOS app's functionality and then developing it further using the latest best practices. They also integrated a shared Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile SDK into both apps to unify the communication logic.
