Case Study: Franke achieves 50% faster planning and improved forecast accuracy with ToolsGroup SO99+

A ToolsGroup Case Study

Preview of the Franke Case Study

Taming Franke’s Extreme Supply Chain Complexity

Franke, a global leader in residential kitchen and bathroom solutions, faced extreme supply‑chain complexity after rapid growth: 42 locations (including 12 production facilities), four echelons serving 146 markets, more than 125,000 SKUs (≈1.4 million SKU‑markets) and 17 different ERP systems. Their SAP rollout left forecasting and multi‑echelon planning fragmented, so Franke selected ToolsGroup — deploying Service Optimizer 99+ (SO99+) and the Demand Collaboration Hub — to address scalability, integration and forecasting accuracy issues.

ToolsGroup implemented SO99+ with probability‑based forecasting, the Demand Collaboration Hub, multi‑echelon inventory optimization and replenishment, and integrated these with SAP plus a data validation/delivery process. The first global forecast was available in three months; 100 local planners now collaborate via DCH, and Franke reduced time to execute forecasting and demand planning by ~50%, cut material‑level MAPE by 8 points, improved forecasting stability and reduced seasonal inventory peaks and bullwhip effects.
