Motivi, one of Italy’s leading fast fashion brands for women’s apparel, saw sales drop sharply during the Covid-19 pandemic as store traffic slowed. To respond quickly, the company turned to ToolsGroup and its Evo InventoryAI solution to help vary store assortments and shorten product life cycles without adding discounts or markdowns.

ToolsGroup’s Evo implemented responsive, store-specific assortments using historical sales data, market data, and simple display-rule inputs, then recommended inventory moves between stores and from warehouses. In a four-week pilot across 85 SKUs in 19 stores, the approach produced a V-shaped rebound in sales for slow-moving products, and the broader rollout showed an €8.8 million impact opportunity, including €3.1 million in extra seasonal revenue and a €5.5 million sales potential increase.
