Miroglio Fashion, Italy’s third largest retailer of women’s apparel, was dealing with uneven demand patterns, stockouts, overstocks, and falling revenues. Its traditional “sell-one, send one” replenishment model struggled because real sales could differ from forecasts by as much as 40–50%, especially across stores with very different performance.
In 2016, Miroglio Fashion partnered with ToolsGroup to implement InventoryAI through Evo, using sales, market, weather, and social data along with store manager input to improve replenishment and inventory transfers. The pilot in 35 stores generated €300,000 margin and 16.2% revenue growth, and the rollout delivered 94% allocation efficiency improvement, €1 million/month incremental margin, and 23% fewer stockouts.
