Pompea, a leading manufacturer of hosiery and underwear serving retail, wholesale and international channels, faced rapidly growing complexity from expanding brands, seasonal assortments and tens of thousands of SKUs. Their labor‑intensive monthly planning process (taking up to 20 days) could not deliver the right inventory mix or meet accelerating delivery expectations, so Pompea engaged ToolsGroup to improve Sales & Operations Planning using ToolsGroup’s SO99+ planning solution.

ToolsGroup implemented SO99+ to enable structured S&OP, demand forecasting with sales inputs, inventory optimization and replenishment planning, feeding the master plan into Pompea’s J.D. Edwards MRP. As a result ToolsGroup helped Pompea cut average service time from 8.5 to 3.2 days (3 days for large supermarket chains), raise customer service levels from 86% to 96% (+10 points), and reduce inventory by 15% while shrinking unsold end‑of‑season stock.
