Pilkington Automotive faced highly unpredictable demand for spare automotive glass across 14 European countries, managing 61,500 SKUs across 95 locations (1.1 million SKU‑locations) and serving customers with very different service, pricing and lead‑time expectations. To move from reactive operations to a more competitive, visible and data‑driven supply chain, Pilkington replaced its legacy planning tools with ToolsGroup’s SO99+ platform.
ToolsGroup implemented end‑to‑end SO99+ capabilities — demand sensing, inventory optimization and replenishment, plus its Demand and Supply Collaboration Hubs integrated with SAP — enabling daily forecasting, proactive alerts and full network visibility. As a result, Pilkington achieved top‑level forecast accuracy consistently above 97%, supplier forecast stability up ~10% and OTiF (on‑time, in‑full) improvements of ~10%, while reducing stock‑outs and centralizing much of its supply‑chain planning.
