Hero Group, a leading food & beverage manufacturer with a large SKU portfolio, faced the need to improve supply chain KPIs—product availability, average stock levels and forecast accuracy—while redesigning its S&OP process to meet targets set by the corporate group. To achieve sustained improvement and automation, Hero engaged ToolsGroup and adopted its planning solutions (SO99+) for demand planning, inventory optimization and replenishment.

ToolsGroup implemented SO99+ to automate end-to-end planning: it produces item‑channel‑day base forecasts, incorporates promotion and launch effects, calculates DC‑level inventory to meet target service policies, and daily recalculates the master production and replenishment plans.
