Grupo Gallo increased service levels while reducing inventory in a highly dynamic environment

Grupo Gallo, a food & beverage manufacturer operating in a fast-moving consumer goods market, faced a rapidly changing supply chain with frequent promotions, many new product introductions, centralized distribution, and rising rush orders. To build a more reactive, adaptive planning process that synchronized procurement, production and replenishment across a shifting network, Grupo Gallo selected ToolsGroup’s SO99+ solution.

ToolsGroup implemented demand planning, inventory optimization and replenishment with SO99+, integrating with Grupo Gallo’s SAP ERP and enabling management by exception and supplier collaboration. As a result, Grupo Gallo raised global customer service levels to 99%, cut inventory by about 10 days of coverage, reduced planning and replenishment work to slightly more than one FTE, and sharply decreased emergency production changes while improving forecasting and sales coordination.
