Delphi saves millions with SO99+

Delphi, a global leader in vehicle electronics and aftermarket parts, faced the challenge of cutting inventory and reducing safety stock while maintaining very high service levels across a large, complex operation (59,000 stocked SKUs, ~17,000 order lines per day, and 700+ suppliers). To address this, Delphi engaged ToolsGroup and deployed its SO99+ platform along with demand planning, inventory optimization, and replenishment capabilities.

ToolsGroup implemented an SAP-integrated solution where SAP R/3 feeds parts and inventory data into SO99+, which applies analytic models to generate replenishment proposals that are finalized back in SAP. The ToolsGroup solution lifted service levels from 91–92% to 98% (a 6–7 point improvement) and reduced inventory from $47M to $43M in the first year (a $4M reduction), with an additional $2M improvement the following year.
