Beatport, a leading electronic music marketplace for DJs and dance music fans, was looking for a better way to run marketing campaigns and grow engagement for its education-focused “Beats in School” program. As Beatport expanded into new technologies and marketing initiatives, the team needed a flexible tool to help manage contests and capture qualified user data efficiently.
ToneDen provided Beatport with its social unlock and data acquisition tools to build a custom contest where fans could submit an original track and contact information for a chance to win spots in the Beats in School program. Using ToneDen, Beatport generated 2,458 entries, and for its third edition the campaign saw 5x more entries than previous versions, making it a major success with GDPR-compliant data collection.
