The United States Navy needed a flexible logistics partner to provide vessel husbandry services for ships calling at foreign ports without US Navy facilities, including locations across Australia, Asia, the Pacific, and the Middle East. Toll Group was selected to support these complex port visits with remote logistics and husbandry services.

Toll Group assigned dedicated port services coordinators to manage each visit from planning through completion, coordinating with port authorities, host nation defense and police departments, and procuring required supplies. The company provided end-to-end support such as pilots, tugs, berths, waste transfer, fresh water, personnel transfers, transport, and foreign exchange, helping Toll Group support US Navy vessels from 2001–2010 and win a recontract in 2013.
