TechCollect, a not-for-profit e-waste recycling service, needed a logistics partner to collect unwanted computers, televisions, appliances, and accessories from more than 100 drop-off points across Australia and transport them to recycling facilities. Toll Group provided the national freight transport support required to keep this distributed recycling network operating efficiently and to help keep e-waste out of landfill.

Toll Group implemented an integrated collection and transport solution using skip bins, stillages, shipping containers, and a dedicated fleet of hook lift trucks, side loaders, tilt trays, and forklifts. Since October 2013, Toll Group has transported more than 2.6 million kilograms of e-waste for TechCollect, supporting broader recycling efforts and helping turn recovered materials into new products.
