Nestlé Australia’s Ice Cream Division needed to quickly develop an in-house team of professional drivers for its route trade business, with a three-month deadline and a goal of helping recover market share. Toll Group was chosen for its logistics recruitment expertise and its ability to source and evaluate suitable candidates for this sensitive project.

Toll Group ran an intensive recruitment process across Victoria and New South Wales to find people who could drive, sell, and merchandise Nestlé products using new purpose-built vehicles. After interviews and inductions, 26 staff were selected and training programs were implemented with Nestlé. The result was a successful rollout, with Nestlé reporting satisfaction with Toll Group’s thorough recruitment approach and deep understanding of its business needs.
