Mazda, one of the world’s largest car manufacturers, needed a logistics partner to improve its national auto parts distribution network across Australia, including 129 dealers and a central parts distribution centre in Victoria. Toll Group was engaged to assess Mazda’s supply chain and design a flexible, scalable Australian and trans-Tasman distribution solution tailored to Mazda’s changing business needs.

Toll Group implemented a Lead Logistics Provider solution with dedicated on-site support at Mazda’s Somerton parts centre, shifting parts ordering from weekly to daily and improving delivery options across air, road, rail, and metro courier networks. The result was better service levels for dealers, lower transport and freight costs, reduced dependence on air freight, faster transit times, and improved visibility and reliability across Mazda’s distribution network.
