The Australian Defence Force partnered with Toll Group in 2006 after civil unrest in Timor Leste created an urgent need to support 1,500 deployed personnel with full camp logistics under very difficult conditions. Toll Group was engaged to provide a complete base garrison solution, including aviation and fuel services, as well as broader camp support logistics.

Toll Group quickly mobilized to deliver medical and hospital services, catering, supply chain support for food and fuel, aviation rotation, and other camp services such as accommodation, fleet management, and site maintenance. The solution was successfully maintained from 2006 to 2013, supporting fluctuating troop levels of 1,200 to 1,500 and ensuring reliable, uninterrupted services throughout the deployment.
