TSD Drives Down PCI Compliance with Tokenization and Cloud Data Vaulting

TSD, an international SaaS provider for fleet-management, rental, leasing, and dealership loaner operations, needed to reduce PCI compliance burden and eliminate sensitive payment account numbers from its application environment. After evaluating multiple security vendors, TSD chose TokenEx to help offload card data storage and processing while maintaining seamless integration with its browser- and mobile-based payment workflows.

Using TokenEx’s cloud data protection platform, browser-based encryption, tokenization, and cloud data vaulting, TSD moved PANs out of its databases and into TokenEx vaults, returning only tokens to its systems. The integration was completed in about a month for the first application and roughly three more weeks for the remaining apps, helping TSD eliminate PCI DSS Requirement 3 compliance for stored payment data while keeping payment processing transparent and secure.
