Securing Avon Data’s Property Management Platform with Transparent Tokenization

Avondata, a hotel property management software provider, needed a way to accept payment card data from booking engines and channel managers without storing sensitive information in its PMS or increasing PCI compliance risk. **TokenEx** implemented a transparent tokenization gateway that strips card data from reservation messages, vaults and tokenizes it, and then forwards tokens to Avondata’s PMS and payment processor workflow. The solution was integrated in just a day, helped Avondata roll out PCI-compliant functionality to new and existing clients quickly, reduced manual data entry and compliance burden, and enabled flexibility to switch payment processors when needed.
