Growing Ecommerce Revenue Utilizing Multiple Payment Service Providers

Configio, a white-label ecommerce and event management provider, needed a way to support many different payment gateways for its clients without storing sensitive payment account numbers internally. As its business grew, so did the burden of PCI compliance, security risk, and custom development work to keep up with client-specific payment requirements.

Configio implemented the TokenEx Cloud Security Platform and its Web Services API to encrypt, tokenize, and vault payment data at the point of entry, while routing transactions to the appropriate gateway. With TokenEx, Configio no longer stores PANs, has added six custom gateways for client needs, and can move quickly on custom payment workflows that have helped it win new business and keep existing clients satisfied.
