HKScan, one of Northern Europe’s largest food companies, needed a more systematic way to collect and report ESG data across 17 production units in multiple countries. The company had previously relied on manual Excel-based reporting, which was rigid, time-consuming, and prone to errors, and it wanted better data quality, timeliness, and coverage beyond just greenhouse gas emissions using Tofuture’s sustainability management tool.

Tofuture implemented a tailored, scalable sustainability management tool that supports HKScan’s full responsibility programme and GRI-based reporting. As a result, ESG data transfer became more efficient, validation faster, reporting more timely, and errors fewer, while HKScan said the solution worked very well and improved the reliability and up-to-dateness of its ESG data.
