Regional Development Victoria engages 30+ stakeholders with Today to tackle workforce shortages

Regional Development Victoria (RDV) engaged the vendor, Today, to address urgent and systemic workforce shortages in the Grampians region. The challenge was driven by global urbanisation trends and was negatively impacting the quality of life for residents, including their access to health and mental health services.

Today employed a systems thinking approach, conducting interviews and focus groups to understand the root causes before facilitating co-design workshops with local stakeholders. This process resulted in an interactive system map and a set of actionable recommendations. As a result, RDV is now confidently implementing the solutions, with local participants having signed up to bring them to life, leading to more sustainable communities and better mental health services.
