Equipment distributor takes advantage of BPM solution to complete successful ERP deployment, train employees, and build customer loyalty

NASTA, a Norway-based distributor and service provider for construction equipment and specialty vehicles, needed to replace an outdated Oracle ERP system that had become difficult to upgrade because of heavy customization. The company also wanted a way to model, test, and document its business processes and train employees effectively as it moved to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. To-Increase provided RapidValue, along with Connectivity Studio, as part of the broader ERP project.

Using To-Increase RapidValue, NASTA documented, validated, and standardized processes across purchasing, sales, finance, warehousing, logistics, field service, and repair, while also creating a central training resource for new and existing employees. The result was a highly standardized Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment with very few customizations, better process consistency, easier user training, and improved customer service and loyalty. NASTA also used integrated system data to trigger proactive maintenance notifications, helping it anticipate customer needs and support more timely service.
