Case Study: GSIX achieves streamlined time tracking and improved productivity with TMetric

A TMetric Case Study

How GSIX improved internal processes with TMetric and stopped wasting time

GSIX, a custom software shop of 30+ engineers, was losing time and accuracy to manual spreadsheet time tracking, missing “invisible” hours and suffering from reduced productivity, poor reporting and billing challenges. To solve this, GSIX adopted the TMetric time-tracking tool (in use for nearly four years) to replace ad hoc logging and regain control over how work hours were recorded.

TMetric provided automatic start/stop tracking, cross-platform apps and integrations with JIRA, Trello, GitLab, GitHub, Asana, Bitbucket and more, plus exportable reports and a custom API. As a result, GSIX eliminated manual entry, gained clear productivity insights and improved billing and project estimation — for example a team snapshot showed 5 h 41 min total with 3 h 49 min (≈67%) billable — and managers can now set and report billable hours reliably thanks to TMetric.
