Walgreens engaged TMA Systems to find a single maintenance-management solution for 13 distribution centers across the U.S. and the Caribbean. The challenge was to track a wide range of assets—facilities, conveyor systems, forklifts and spare parts—consolidate maintenance operations and support multiple repair/cost centers for accurate operational cost tracking.

TMA implemented WebTMA and mobileTMA with system implementation, training and ongoing services (about three months per site), delivering a centralized CMMS that tracks assets, schedules maintenance and captures repair/cost data. The rollout standardized maintenance processes, improved cost visibility and operational control across Walgreens’ distribution network, supporting the company’s technology-driven service goals.
