A TMA Systems Case Study
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), a large urban research university with about 23,000 students, more than 2,000 faculty and staff, and nearly 100 facilities totaling 2.6 million maintainable square feet, faced a growing facilities-management challenge: roughly 50,000 work orders a year (and rising) across multiple functional areas—building services, fleet, grounds, planning, safety, warehouse, etc.—that needed both data segregation by department and shared visibility from a common system.
UNLV implemented WebTMA Enterprise (SaaS) with modules like Executive Dashboard, ServiceDesk, Auto Attendant, Key Management and mobile/WebTMA in a three-month rollout, supported by implementation, training and ongoing services. The solution centralized work and preventive maintenance, asset/vehicle/inventory control, billing and reporting on a shared database while segregating data by functional area, meeting UNLV’s high-volume needs and providing ongoing operational visibility and efficiency.
