A TMA Systems Case Study
The University of Miami Facilities Administration, supporting three campuses and a large medical campus including the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, needed to manage and coordinate maintenance across 200 operations staff, multiple customer service desk personnel and 20 administrative staff. With decentralized sites and complex clinical engineering needs, the department sought a system to automate work‑order workflow and improve accountability across multiple operating groups.
TMA Systems implemented TMA Enterprise, TMA iServiceDesk, mobileTMA (Pocket PC) and custom interfaces in a three‑month engagement including training and ongoing services. The solution automated work‑order processing, increased accountability, and supported clinical engineering requirements for the School of Medicine, meeting and exceeding the university’s objectives for streamlined facilities operations.
