QuikTrip, a convenience-store chain operating roughly 800 locations across 11 states plus distribution centers, kitchens, and corporate offices, needed to replace an unsupported, heavily customized CMMS. The organization—supporting about 350 field technicians and ~750,000 service calls per year—required a solution that would preserve core functionality, boost technician productivity through mobility (barcode/asset tagging/GPS), provide intuitive reporting and dashboards, integrate with JD Edwards, Emerson alarms and Veeder‑Root, and streamline existing workflows.
TMA implemented WebTMA Enterprise in a six‑month rollout, documenting workflows, cleaning and importing legacy data, customizing mobileTMA GO (custom work orders, GPS tracking, enhanced materials handling and training requests), and adding full Materials Management with JD Edwards integration. The result was mobile-enabled technicians, consolidated inventory and materials control, integrated peripheral systems, and improved operational visibility and decision-making via dashboards—delivering measurable gains in productivity and streamlined maintenance operations.
