Modernizing with Dashboards and Mobility – University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign needed a better way to use TMA Systems’ CMMS beyond basic work orders. After an early implementation, the university’s housing team wanted to track maintenance data more effectively, improve operational decisions, and save time and resources while managing more than 3.75 million square feet across 122 buildings.

TMA Systems helped the university expand its use of WebTMA with Executive Dashboards and mobile licenses. The solution gave supervisors and technicians clearer visibility into current and outstanding work, while mobility let staff manage work orders anywhere and reduce trips back to a central office. As a result, the Housing Department increased annual work orders to about 38,000 and cut costs on paper, office supplies, campus driving, and supervisor sign-off delays.
