Indian Health Service - Customer Case Study

TMA Systems partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Indian Health Service (IHS) to deploy WebTMA for facility operations and clinical engineering. IHS faced a decentralized environment where hospitals managed maintenance locally, leaving headquarters without standardized data or a consolidated view for reporting, asset management, preventive maintenance, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

TMA worked with IHS to establish global standards, create data-import templates, and roll the system out in phases, supplemented by role‑based training. The WebTMA suite (including Executive Dashboard, ServiceDesk, mobileTMA GO, and others) centralized maintenance and biomedical data while preserving local autonomy, enabled cross‑site trend reporting and KPIs, improved preventive maintenance and asset control, and increased productivity — all delivered in a seven‑month implementation.
