Choctaw Defense Services selected a corporate-wide computerized maintenance management system to standardize operations across its business units, beginning with support for the U.S. Coast Guard base in Kodiak, Alaska. The primary challenge was deploying a fully integrated CMMS that was easy to use so technicians would adopt it and it could handle day-to-day work orders and a preventive maintenance program.

They implemented WebTMA Enterprise (SaaS) — including Executive Dashboard, ServiceDesk, mobileTMA GO, procurement and key management tools — with system implementation, training and ongoing services in a six-month project. The rollout streamlined work order and preventive maintenance processes, improved analysis of manufacturers and contractors, and is being expanded to additional bases as TMA continues to meet the organization’s needs.
