A TMA Systems Case Study
Banner Health, a large nonprofit health system with 24 hospitals, six long-term care centers and thousands of ancillary services across eight states, faced a growing facilities and clinical engineering challenge: about 11,000 asset line items generating roughly 90,000 maintenance transactions annually (projected to grow 10% per year). Banner needed a centralized asset-management platform to track more than 25,000 pieces of equipment, streamline property records, and provide consistent monitoring, analysis and reporting across its widespread operations.
Banner selected TMA’s Enterprise solution with the Biomed Module, iServiceDesk and Palm interfaces and implemented it in four phased deployments—migrating existing sites, converting MP2 clients, adding new sites and integrating clinical engineering data. TMA provided role-specific training and ongoing support; the result was improved data availability and quality, better day-to-day management and reporting, faster ROI from streamlined workflows, and continued alignment with Banner’s maintenance and clinical-engineering goals.
