Göteborgs Operan, a major Nordic cultural institution selling 300,000 tickets annually, needed a new ticket administration system. They selected the vendor Tixly for its flexible and user-friendly platform to improve the sales and management process for both their customers and internal users.

Despite the challenges of implementing a new system during a pandemic when events were halted, Tixly's implementation was noted as being exceptionally smooth. This allowed the Opera to thoroughly explore the system's features. A significant part of the solution involved Tixly's POS API, which was used by the Opera's web agency to develop a custom online purchase flow for an enhanced customer experience.
