SICREDI Credit Union, one of Brazil’s largest cooperative financial institutions, needed to better protect members’ personally identifiable information (PII) while meeting strict banking secrecy and privacy requirements. Titus implemented a one-click classification solution that let end users easily and accurately label sensitive information directly in Office applications. The rollout was staged and well received, improving user adoption and helping SICREDI capture business context through metadata for better protection with McAfee DLP. The measurable impact was stronger protection of member data, easier compliance, and unusually high user demand for deployment across departments.
