FIFE Constabulary Classifying Messages for GPMS Compliance with TITUS®

FIFE Constabulary, one of eight Scottish forces serving the Fife region, needed a better way to protect sensitive information and ensure officers followed security policies while handling thousands of calls each day. The force turned to Titus and its Message Classification solution to help meet UK Community Security Policy requirements and align with the British Government Protective Marking Scheme.

Titus implemented Message Classification to let users identify, mark, and manage information before sending, adding consistent labels and metadata to every email. The rollout took only a few days and integrated smoothly with existing systems, resulting in every email being classified, stronger secure information sharing with partners, improved user awareness, and better compliance with GPMS while reducing the risk of costly data leaks.
