The Timothy Initiative is an international church‑planting organization that partners with local believers to plant churches in the world’s least‑reached areas—having planted over 50,000 churches in 42 countries and training new church planters for about $300 each. Their custom-built online giving system became increasingly cumbersome, expensive to maintain, and relied on multiple services and developers, which drained time and resources.
TTI moved to Tithe.ly for online, mobile, and text giving; the platform has no monthly fee (only transaction fees), and Tithe.ly quickly enabled Salesforce integration via its API. The switch simplified donor management, cut costs and administrative time, opened more giving options for supporters, and freed up funds to help TTI plant nearly six more churches this year.
