ISP halts spam for thousands of users with SpamTitan gateway

Hiawatha Broadband Communications (HBC) is a regional ISP serving about 11,000 residential and 2,000 business users in southeast Minnesota. HBC needed an easy-to-manage email security solution that would scale and scan both incoming and outgoing mail after their previous Postini setup proved unsatisfactory and their mail servers were being blacklisted. They evaluated vendors and selected TitanHQ’s SpamTitan gateway (SpamTitan for Internet Service Providers) to meet those needs.

The SpamTitan gateway was quick to install—protecting 300 customer domains in about 15 minutes—stopped spam that threatened HBC’s mail servers, reduced HBC’s administrative workload, and delivered affordable, scalable protection for thousands of users.
