Dub shortens time to market for user-facing analytics with Tinybird

Dub is an open-source link management platform for marketing teams that needed to deliver fast, user-facing analytics while also tracking click-based usage billing. Its Redis Sorted Sets–based setup couldn’t keep up as traffic grew, leading to slow, inflexible queries and a poor in-product analytics experience.

Dub implemented Tinybird’s real-time analytics platform, using the Events API for ingestion and Tinybird’s API layer to turn SQL queries into REST endpoints. With Tinybird, Dub shipped an MVP in 2 weeks, achieved 100x faster queries, and offloaded database scaling and ingestion management so the team could focus on building product features.
