How Tiny helped streamline Tax Notes’ CMS

Tax Notes, a nonprofit tax publisher, faced significant challenges with an outdated content management system that required extensive XML coding knowledge and unique formatting rules for every content type. This antiquated process, which relied on a 40-year-old word processor, made publishing content long and complicated. To streamline their workflow, they turned to the vendor Tiny and implemented its TinyMCE rich-text editor.

By switching to TinyMCE, a flexible WYSIWYG editor, Tax Notes was able to unify its content in XHTML and eliminate the need for complex coding. The solution provided by Tiny resulted in a massive reduction in editing and production time, with tasks that once took hours now taking minutes. In-house training time was also greatly reduced, and the small development team appreciated having a responsive and knowledgeable partner in Tiny for support.
