Voxbone Dials in OpenStack on a Tintri All Flash Array

Voxbone, a global Voice-over-IP telecom services provider, needed a more efficient way to build a private-cloud staging environment after moving beyond physical servers. Working with Tintri and a Tintri VMstore T5040 All Flash Array, the company sought storage that could support about 200 persistent virtual machines, scale for testing bursts, and offer per-VM quality-of-service controls.

Tintri implemented the VMstore all-flash storage for Voxbone’s OpenStack Ubuntu environment, and the deployment was smooth and easy to manage without extra resources. Tintri delivered far better performance than Voxbone’s legacy HDD-based storage, speeding deployments and testing, and the system scaled to four times more nodes than originally planned while continuing to perform as expected.
