StratoGen Selects Tintri for Public and Private Cloud Services

Access Alto, through its cloud hosting business StratoGen, needed a storage platform that could deliver better performance, scale more easily, and support its VMware-based public and private cloud services. Its existing NetApp, Dell EqualLogic, and Compellent systems struggled with application performance and visibility, especially in a multi-tenant environment. Access Alto evaluated Tintri and chose its VM-aware VMstore storage for the workload.

Tintri implemented four VMstore T880 systems, plus T820 and T850 systems, across StratoGen’s cloud environment. The result was faster application performance, simpler one-day deployment, improved disaster recovery with native replication, and a 4x reduction in datacenter footprint and power usage. Tintri also helped Access Alto retain customers, attract new ones, and standardize its hosting platform going forward.
