Reinhart Law Goes “All-In” with Tintri to Solve VDI Performance Issues

Reinhart, one of the nation’s largest law firms, was struggling with slow VDI performance, complex storage management, and costly legacy NetApp SANs. Its VMware Horizon View environment for 500 persistent desktops was bottlenecked by storage, causing user complaints, difficult replication, and high administrative overhead. Reinhart turned to Tintri to find a simpler, more efficient storage platform.

Tintri implemented four VMstore T650 systems, helping Reinhart consolidate and simplify storage administration while improving desktop performance and security. The results were significant: latency dropped from seconds to microseconds, average latency fell to 0.06 μs, IT costs were cut by 75%, and the firm avoided the burden of managing two SANs. With Tintri, Reinhart also gained easier replication, reduced data center footprint, and freed IT staff to focus on strategic projects.
