Randers Municipality Pioneers a New Storage Solution for Virtual Environments

Randers Municipality, the administrative body for the Region Midtjylland in Denmark, needed to achieve full virtualization while reducing the complexity and maintenance burden of its existing storage infrastructure and cutting IT costs. Its traditional SAN was not well suited for virtualized applications, making administration time-consuming and limiting efficiency. Tintri, recommended by RanTek, was chosen to support the municipality’s VMware vSphere 5.5 environment.
