Quaero Chooses Tintri for All Workloads

Quaero, a SaaS-based audience intelligence platform, needed a more robust and scalable storage environment for its business-critical web and application servers, test/development workloads, and MS SQL systems. Running on aging Dell Compellent storage, the company was seeing performance issues and losing 2–3 drives per week, making storage management increasingly difficult. Tintri was selected to support Quaero’s all-workload environment.

Tintri implemented a T880 hybrid-flash system across Quaero’s production and test/development workloads, simplifying VM-level storage management and improving performance. The results included 90% lower latencies, a 75% smaller storage footprint, and reduced power consumption to 10% of the previous system, saving Quaero thousands of dollars annually in co-lo and power costs. Tintri also cut tuning time significantly, giving Quaero much better visibility into VMs and I/O.
