ProCirrus, a cloud service provider, was struggling with storage that was both expensive and unreliable, putting customer SLAs and uptime commitments at risk. After evaluating multiple options, the company chose Tintri and its VM-aware storage approach, including the Tintri T850 and VMware vSphere, to address performance and management challenges.

Tintri implemented a hybrid-flash storage system that gave ProCirrus better visibility and control at the VM level. The result was latency dropping from 8–20 ms to sub-1 ms, a 95% reduction, along with a much smaller management footprint, 73% less rack space, lower power use, and improved ROI for ProCirrus.
