Panasonic Rebuilds Its Private Cloud with Tintri

Panasonic System Networks Co., Ltd. needed to simplify the management of its cloud storage environment after moving internal operations to the cloud. The company’s legacy storage was difficult to adjust, lacked visibility into the virtual environment, and required specialized expertise to manage performance across multiple service levels. Tintri was selected to help Panasonic rebuild its private cloud storage platform.

Tintri implemented its VMstore T620 as primary storage for Panasonic’s VMware-based virtual environment. The result was a 50% reduction in cloud build time, virtual machine provisioning cut from tens of minutes to just seconds, and a datacenter footprint reduced to one-third of the previous architecture. With Tintri, Panasonic also improved application response times and QoS, helping deliver better service to end users.
